What is Weave-n-Wonder?
A hands-on weaving kit designed by an educator to help kids learn through making—think patterns, counting, early problem-solving, and creativity.
What ages is it for?
Recommended for ages 7+. (6 year olds have successfully used the kits with a bit of help with making knots)
How long does a project take?
Beginner projects take 30-45 mins. All projects take less than 60 minutes—easy to fit into busy family schedules.
What's inside the kit?
A reusable frame loom, warp and weft yarn, needles, support dowels, wooden dowel, comb/beater, pattern cards, and a step-by-step guide. Everything comes in a bag for easy storage. You'll only need household scissors.
Why are there small holes on all loom parts?
The holes are to keep things organized! Take a small piece of yarn and thread it through each piece- then finish with a slip knot. Now you got a bundle and you won't lose anything!
Do I need any experience?
No experience needed. The guide uses simple "over-under" steps with detailed illustrations. Perfect for beginners.
What skills do kids build?
Pattern recognition, counting, measuring, early algorithmic thinking, fine-motor coordination, patience, mindfulness, and confidence—through a creative, screen-free activities
Is the kit reusable?
Yes. Re-warp the loom and try new colors/patterns as often as you like.
Can left-handed kids use it comfortably?
Absolutely—everything works left-to-right or right-to-left.
Are the materials safe?
We use high-quality materials and child-friendly tools. Adult supervision is recommended for ages 6–8 and whenever scissors are used. Small parts—keep away from children under 3.
Where is Weave-n-Wonder made?
Designed and assembled in Hudson, Ohio (USA). All kits are manufactured in USA.
How do I care for the finished piece?
Trim stray ends, hand-wash gently if needed, and lay flat to dry. Avoid high heat.
